Crossover

In order to try and forecast whether a stock price will go up or down, analysts look for a point on a stock chart called a crossover.

A crossover is the point at which a security and an indicator intersect, and is usually used as a signal to buy or sell. Indicators can include moving averages, relative strength index, and on-balance volume.
