Domicile

Domicile. It means the same in CorporateSpeak as it does in plain English: It's where you live. That is, you are domiciled at 823 Shady Lane, Anytown, CA, USA. A corporation has a similar domicile and it's important, because the domicile dictates the law that gets applied in conflicts; that is, California law is different—in almost every way—from the laws of, say, Wyoming.
