Dow Jones Transportation Average - DJTA

You know the Dow Jones Industrial Average? The one everyone means when they say things like "what did the Dow do today?" It has 30 stocks on which every reporter on the planet reports...despite the fact that professional traders focus a lot more on the S&P 500 than the Dow, but...whatever. You do you, CNBC.
Anyway...the Dow Jones Transportation Average is like that other Dow's little brother. A little brother who's waaaaayyy into trucks.
The DJTA tracks the movement of stocks in the transportation sector. It includes a wide swath of transport stocks: airlines (like American and United, as of 2018), rental car companies (Avis), railroads (CSX and Union Pacific), package delivery companies (FedEx and UPS), and trucking firms (JB Hunt). Someday, DriverlessWonders.com, TelsaTeamsterDeath, and BoatsAPlenty.
