Eurostrip

A series of clubs in a very specific part of Amsterdam.

Also, it's the name of a particular type of interest rate derivative.

The Eurostrips work like a swap, which is a form of futures strategy that allows users to hedge against interest rates. The main distinction of Eurostrips is that they are built on Eurodollars, which are dollar-denominated deposits in foreign banks.

The structure of a Eurostrip is relatively complicated, involving multiple future contracts based on Eurodollars. As such, the technique is generally used by institutions (with graduates from fancy schools using fancy algorithms to tell them what to do).
