The other Litecoin Cash is one of a growing field of cryptocurrencies. It's a competitor to Bitcoin and Etherium.

Litecoin Cash was created as a hard fork from Litecoin, meaning it broke off from an already existing digital currency. The split took place in 2018.

Litecoin itself was launched in October in 2011, a spinoff from Bitcoin. It reached $1 billion in capitalization in 2013.
