Mid-Value Stock

Categories: Stocks

It's kind of a value stock (like something washed out, that the Street has sold down to be trading at, say, 8 times earnings). But this stock trades at 11 times earnings. Growth stocks in this market trade around 18 times, so it's just kinda...mid. Making up its mind where to go and how to grow and what to do with its future.

Mid-value names are often fallen growth stocks or recovery stories of stocks that previously died, killed management and the board, and then re-engaged to be...growthy again.

Volatile era. Caveat Shmooptor.
