If you're bullish on one country's prospects, you can buy a fund that just comprises that country's industries and...have at it. The U.S. is really almost "not just one country," in that we have so many profitable industries, it'd be hard to even begin to think about the U.S. as a single "play" in a country fund. But Korea? Sure. Vietnam? Sure. Israel? Sure. As the countries get bigger (hello, China), they don't really deliver the key targeted investment volatility that an investor in it is seeking (and volatility is good when the motion is upward and you're long the stock or investment).
We're hoping to soon have a Mars Fund. C'mon, Elon. We're waiting.

why would you want to sector fund Well if you
believe that oil was about tohave an explosion in demand
the good kind of explosion Then you'd want to beam
or exposed to it financially at least to its upside
Then say you would technology which you feel has gotten
too expensive in the markets And its best days are
behind it It's A little like putting several of your
