A T-Bond is a U.S. Government-backed debt security with maturity of 10 years or more. That is, unlike its kissin' cousin' the T-Note, this one is long-term. They pay Federal taxes, but states don't get to collect taxes on them.

They're safe. And boring. And sometimes...that's just awesome.
