Viola is a card-carrying member of the BeyHive. That's a fact—and that's why screamed is an indicative verb in this example.

Example 2

The roller hockey players scatter every time a car comes down the street.

Game off! Here, scatter is an indicative verb because this is an ordinary statement of fact. Game on again!

Example 3

Did you order the pizza yet? We're starving.

In this example, the verb phrase did order is part of a question, so we used the indicative mood. Ugh. Now we're hungry.
