Many rowing crews practice year-round, which can put a lot of pressure on athletes more familiar with seasonal training. Otherwise, the life of an NCAA rower is much like any NCAA athlete—strenuous, stressful, and occasionally insane.

You'll have to maintain good grades while doing workouts that would make lesser guys and girls collapse into mushy puddles. Spring will mean travelling to several regattas and possibly missing classes…which you're still expected to do well in. On a somewhat related note, have they perfected cloning yet?
