We meet students at their level

Students take a diagnostic exam to kick off the process. This highlights strengths and weaknesses, showing you where improvement is needed.
Set a plan
If a student is having a hard time grasping a difficult subject or test area, we set a personalized improvement plan to build deficient areas.

Diagnostic testing
While it’s more fun to focus on the things we're good at, that mentality won’t increase test scores! We take a diagnostic approach to identify where each student's unique strengths are and identify areas that need improvement.
Once those areas needing improvement are identified, students and teachers can begin to create a personalized test prep journey. This accomplishes a few objectives; allows students to focus on and strengthen their weakest areas, enables a 1:1 teacher/student relationship at scale, and optimizes growth and outcomes.

Self-paced coursework
Shmoop’s online courses are designed to give students ample time to complete the work (and understand it). Students can work through lessons and assignments at their own pace, go back to review material, and leverage a plethora of learning materials in video or written formats.
