Exactly how steamy is this story?

There isn't any sex here, so move on if that's what you're looking for. There is, however, quite a bit of violence, as in the fist-to-face variety. Not to worry, though, if you're sensitive about graphic scenes—An Na doesn't describe the gruesome details of each abusive moment; she's more into cutting away and leaving things to your imagination. That could be worse, of course, but we're pretty certain you'll be okay, unless the scenes call up stuff from your own life. In which case, you might want to read this novel with a lot of support around you.
