• Hassan goes to comfort his pal Colin after his big break up with yet another Katherine. He's sick of sitting around listening to Colin complain though, so he says they should get away from it all. Road trip time, baby.
• Now they just have to tell their parents they're off on an aimless trip. Hassan doesn't want to lie to his mom, so he and Colin say they'll get jobs while away.
• Driving through the middle of nowhere, Colin and Hassan see signs for tourist stops. Hassan thinks they should have an adventure and stop at some of them, but Colin doesn't want to, so they keep driving.
• Hassan and Colin stop in a town called Gutshot to see the grave of the Archduke Franz Ferdinand and meet a girl named Lindsey.
• When Lindsey brings them to her house, Hassan thinks her mom, Hollis, is a riot, so they end up staying.
• Colin and Hassan agree that dingleberries is the word they will use to let each other know they're going too far with busting on each other.
• Lindsey, Colin, and Hassan begin the interviews of people in Gutshot, starting with an old guy named Starnes.
• Lindsey goes and hangs (translation: makes out) with TOC while Colin and Hassan wander around, but after a while they get bored so Hassan fakes an asthma attack so they can all go home. Later that night, Lindsey asks Hassan about Colin and he gives her the lowdown on his odd friend.
• With a set of new and improved questions from Hollis, the trio set off for more interviews, this time at the factory.
• Lindsey and Hassan go cruising with her pals while Colin stays at home and reads; they both wish he would loosen up a bit.
• Hassan stays home "sick" from work, giving Colin and Lindsey a bit of time together.
• Lindsey and Hassan go cruising with her pals again, while Colin stays at home and works on his theorem.
• Hassan has a hot date with his new kissing buddy, Katrina. Ooh la la.
• At the hog hunt, hunting is slow until things suddenly get interesting when Colin and Hassan see TOC and Katrina together in the woods…
• Hassan registers for college.
• Lindsey, Colin, and Hassan go to Memphis to spy on Hollis, and learn her big secret about dumping tampon string shipments to keep the factory going a bit longer.
• In the end, Hasan, Colin, and Lindsey, get in the car and hit the road to see where it might take them.
