Bad Cop, Bad Cop
Eckhardt is the corrupt cop in cahoots (say that five times fast) with Carl Grissom. We have to wonder if the corruption runs deeper, because a crime boss can't run a city with only one cop on the payroll.
But there's one less cop on the payroll after Eckhardt, who's been sent to kill Jack Napier, is shot dead in a shootout. We only get a couple of scenes with Eckhardt, but teaches us that while crime does pay, cashing the check can be deadly.
