Benito Cereno Timeline and Summary

We meet Cereno when Captain Delano boards the San Dominick.
Cereno gives Delano a brief history of the doomed ship: storms, fever, and scurvy, oh my!
Cereno is relying pretty heavily on a slave named Babo. He can't go anywhere without the guy.
Delano gives Cereno side-eye when he doesn't punish slaves for beating the Spanish cabin boy.
Cereno asks Delano about how well armed the Bachelor's Delight is. What, so he's going to play pirate?
Before Delano can react, a slave named Atufal comes to Cereno's quarters.
Cereno asks him if he'll ask for a pardon (for something we never hear about), but Atufal refuses.
Babo gives Cereno an ill-fated shave. Let's just say that blood isn't a good look for anybody.
Cereno tries to hold Delano's hand before he leaves the San Dominick. It's really not a romantic kind of thing; it's a desperation kind of thing.
Cereno jumps into the boat with Delano as he leaves and evades being stabbed by Babo, who follows his master.
Cereno hides out in the Bachelor's Delight as the two crews engage in an epic battle.
After Babo's trial and execution, Cereno wastes away and dies.
