Ada Monroe Timeline and Summary

Ada is on her farm, unsure what to do or where she belongs.
Ruby turns up and offers to help if she can live on the farm, too.
Ada and Ruby work together to begin making the farm what it needs to be.
Ruby's lazy father Stobrod shows up and asks for help.
Ada and Ruby find out Stobrod's been shot and go to bury him.
Ada and Ruby find out Stobrod's not dead and take him to the abandoned Cherokee village to recover.
Inman arrives near the village, and he and Ada meet each other.
Inman and Ada spend several days and nights planning their future together.
Inman is shot by the Home Guard.
Ten years later, we find Ada living on the farm with a nine-year-old daughter.
