Jane is a seventh-grade hottie whom Crash has a little crush on. But Jane is friends with Penn, and she doesn't want anything to do with Crash. In the novel's next-to-last sentence, though, we learn that Jane invites Crash to a party. Sometimes being a good guy has its perks.
