Case Description: Complainant (Dionysus) accuses defendant (Hera) of aiding and abetting in the murder of Semele, the complainant's mother. Hera tricked Semele into asking Zeus (Semele's lover) to reveal himself in his true form. This form was thunder and lightning, so Semele was obliterated.
Case Status: Case dismissed. Dionysus rescued his mother from the underworld and made her immortal.
