The Fault in Our Stars Steaminess Rating

Exactly how steamy is this story?

PG-13

From the moment Hazel sets eyes on Augustus and takes in his gorgeousness, it's obvious that there's going to be some major steaminess in this book. After all, what usually happens when you throw together two mutually attracted teenagers who have raging hormones and spend plenty of time together?

Yeah.

For a while, Hazel tries to play coy and stave off Augustus because she thinks it would only hurt him if they got romantically involved. But in Amsterdam, neither of them can control their attraction to the other, and they end up kissing and, ahem, doing the deed. It's a real fireworks moment for both teens, and marks a definite turning point in their relationship.
