Margaret "Margot" Macomber (a.k.a. "Memsahib," the Indian word for the wife of a white official) Timeline and Summary

At the story's beginning, Margot is judgmentally disgusted with her cowardly husband.
Frustrated with his behavior, she grows emotional as she, Macomber, and Wilson drink gimlets after the failed lion hunt.
At 3am the next morning, she returns to her tent, where she finds Macomber awake and wondering exactly where she has been. Apparently, she has been with Wilson. Uh oh.
Later that morning, during breakfast, she discusses the day's hunt with Wilson and her husband. They all set off to hunt buffalo, with Margot coming along for the ride in the car.
When Macomber shoots a buffalo, Margot reacts negatively to his newfound pride.
And when he heads into the bush to finish the job and gets charged by the buffalo, Margot shoots Macomber in the head, killing him instantly.
