The old cliché "too many cooks spoil the broth" could be reimagined here as "too many secret agents spoil the international criminal organization." From Russia with Love has almost too many antagonists to count.

• Number Three, Rosa Klebb
• Grant, assassin hired by Klebb
• Number Five, Kronsteen
• Krilencu, Bulgarian assassin
• Morzeny, scarred SPECTRE henchman
• An unnamed Bulgarian spy, killed by Grant in the Hagia Sofia
• Dozens of men who attempt to dive-bomb Bond with a helicopter or blow him up in a boat

All these baddies fall under the SPECTRE umbrella, and this disorganized organization will haunt Bond for years to come.
