This live action version of the book, starring Jim Carrey in the titular role, hit theaters in 2000. For those of you who follow Gossip Girl, look for Taylor Momsen as little Cindy-Lou Who. Now that's some strange casting.

This time with an exclamation mark! The cheery animated version of this Christmas classic also features a very green Grinch, as well as the song, "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch," which is Shmoop's favorite song to sing in the shower, not that you needed to know.

The Grinch and Max made an appearance on this children's television series that aired on Nick Jr. in the nineties.
