• September 1773: Cilla testifies on Johnny's behalf in court.
• Autumn 1773: Cilla agrees to meet Johnny by the pump on Thursdays and Sundays.
• Summer 1774: Cilla visits the Boston Observer office. She tells Johnny that she and Isannah are both living with the Lytes—she is a kind of servant for Isannah and Miss Lavinia.
