Rab Silsbee Timeline and Summary

September 1773: Rab meets Johnny in the Boston Observer office and offers him a job. He gets Cilla to court to testify for Johnny when Johnny is accused of theft.
Autumn 1773: Rab works with the Boston Observers and other local Whigs, and he organizes a group of young men to participate in the Boston Tea Party.
December 1773: Rab participates in the Boston Tea Party.
June 1774: A British officer brains Rab for touching his stacked musket.
Summer-Autumn 1774: Rab worries about getting a decent gun. He attempts to buy one illegally from the British and is told, "Go buy a pop-gun, boy" (8.3.25), which wounds his pride.
March 1775: Rab gets a musket from Johnny.
April 16, 1775: Rab leaves Boston to join the militia in Lexington.
April 19, 1775: Rab is wounded in the first volley of the war on Lexington Green.
April 20, 1775: Rab dies of his wounds at Buckthorn Tavern, bequeathing his musket to Johnny.
