Character Role Analysis

Dominique and Leticia, We Guess

There are two sort-of antagonists, so they're going to share billing here. Dominique is an antagonist because of her intent to jump Trina, and Leticia is also because she is arguably equally to blame for Trina's welfare since she has the knowledge but does nothing with it.

Adding to their only kinda-sorta antagonist status is the fact that these two girls aren't really evil. We may root against their actions, but we don't really root against them. (Except Leticia and the nail thing—she is straight up preposterous about her nail.) In fact, both girls have some redeeming qualities: Leticia's got a conscience buried deep and Dominique is kind of compassionate and really does try. Unfortunately, though, neither winds up redeeming herself. Bummer.
