Not only does the plot revolve around sex, and not only is practically every other word some sort of smutty double-entendre, but also all of the male characters spend the entire play sporting visible, uh, "Spartan walking sticks." This is a nonstop smut-fest. Seriously.
We usually devote this section to outlining the dirty bits of any given text, but if we were to do that with Lysistrata we'd end up typing the entirety of the play.
Read this play or (gulp!) see this play performed with your buddies or your significant other. Leave small children and family members out.
