Case description: Ramses II, king of Egypt, and Hattusili III, king of the Hittites, battled for more than 16 years. Mut told them they should stop trying to kill each other and sue for peace.
Case status: Ramses and Hattusili wrote the world's first peace treaty, and Hattusili sent one of his beautiful daughters to Egypt to be another one of Ramses' wives. (Not that Ramses needed any more. He had at least a dozen wives, and almost 100 children by that time...)
