- He's received a letter with the news about Mordred taking over the joint.
- There was a horrible battle when Arthur and his men landed at Dover.
- Turns out, the letter was sent by Gawain, who is now dead.
- In the letter, he begs Lancelot to remember the love that once existed between them, and to come immediately and help Arthur to defeat Mordred.
- Lancelot and his men pack up and leave.
