Character Analysis
Mr. Fish is the Wheelwright's next-door neighbor at 80 Front Street. He's not married, nor does he have any children to speak of. He enjoys playing catch with Johnny and Owen. He's constantly dropping by the Wheelwrights' house when he knows that Dan is there, because he loves acting in the plays that the Gravesend Players put on. He's in just about every play that they produce. He's a character who always seems to be there but whose inner life we don't know much about. In fact, Johnny and Owen are really curious about him, too.
