How It All Goes Down

- Alex is riding in a car to Sayle Enterprises, posing as Felix Lester.
- Sayle Enterprises is located beside a small fishing village. Their security is intense, though—the entire facility is surrounded by a tall barbed-wire fence.
- They arrive and the driver leads Alex into a large, fancy room with a giant aquarium on one side; to his shock, Alex looks inside and sees "the biggest jellyfish he had ever seen" (7.25).
- A man approaches Alex from behind and tells him that it's a rare Portuguese man o' war that he caught himself. This must be the one and only Herod Sayle.
- Then Alex slips up and accidentally tells Sayle to call him Alex, not Felix. He quickly covers up his mistake, though, and Sayle seems to buy it. That's a rookie mistake, li'l Bond.
- Sayle's assistant, Mr. Grin, enters the room. Mr. Grin can't speak and has scars running across his face like Heath Ledger from The Dark Knight. Now that's what you call a henchman.
- Mr. Grin leads Alex to his room, and to his horror, Alex realizes that he's staying in the same room that his uncle once lived in.
