Case Description: Complainant (Syrinx) accuses Defendant (Pan) of harassment. Pan got all hot and bothered about Syrinx, one of Artemis's virgin nymph followers. He chased her all around the woods until she finally had some naiads change her into the form of reeds on the bank of the River Ladon to escape him.
Case Status: Case closed. To keep Syrinx with him always, Pan cut some of the reeds and tied them together making the first pan flute or syrinx. (If Syrinx hadn't been a plant by that point, we're guessing she would've had some things to say about being cut up and turned into a musical instrument.)
