Ellie Timeline and Summary

  • Ellie gets the good idea to go camping.
  • She has to invite lots of friends, though, so her parents will let her take boys along, too.
  • Soon, Ellie gets everything ready and drives everyone in the Landie up to Tailor's Stitch.
  • While there, in Hell, she enjoys hanging with friends.
  • Upon arriving home, she finds it empty and all her are animals dead. Uh… what?
  • She gets freaked when Homer's house is the same.
  • Trying hard to ignore the facts, she has a tantrum over Lee's idea that it is a war.
  • Pretty soon, though, she gets it. A spy party goes out to check on the Showground, and when soldiers give chase, Ellie goes to an empty backyard and blows up a lawn mower when the soldiers are near.
  • She feels awful about it.
  • While recovering from shock, she begins liking both Lee and Homer. She's confused about her feelings. Homer and Ellie ride, holding hands, to Robyn's house to see if they've made it back.
  • Robyn's there, but Lee's been shot, which Ellie is torn up over.
  • Homer, Ellie, and Robyn plan a rescue mission.
  • Ellie steals a front loader and drives it into town, picks up Robyn and Lee, and smashes her way out of town while trying not to get shot.
  • They transfer everyone to a stolen car Homer drives and they switch cars at Chris's house, where Ellie picks him up.
  • Heading up to Hell, Ellie gets to rest and investigate her feelings for Lee and for Homer, though Homer is into Fi.
  • After an argument with Lee over whether she likes him, Ellie rushes off and ends up finding the Hermit's hut.
  • She guides the others there as well. When she takes Lee, they find the Hermit's secret papers that show he may not have been a real murderer.
  • On the trip back, she kisses Lee. She also gets a lot of work done around the camp.
  • Once it is time to find a way to fight back, Ellie is volunteered to do a dangerous stunt: drive a gas tanker under the bridge and blow it up.
  • Ellie pulls off this daring feat.
  • Once back at her house, Ellie finds that Corrie's been shot and badly hurt, which just tears Ellie up inside. She wishes she could have taken her friend to the hospital.
