  • Tiny Cooper and Will Grayson have been best friends since fifth grade.
  • Last semester there was a dust up about Tiny being both gay and a football player, but Will wrote an article in the school newspaper defending his BFF.
  • Tiny is in love with yet another boy (this happens all the time).
  • Tiny hears that Neutral Milk Hotel is playing in Chicago and gets some friends to go.
  • Turns out it isn't Neutral Milk Hotel, though. Tiny's boyfriend also breaks up with him. Via Facebook status. Ouch.
  • Tiny is so upset that he gets drunk and Will and Jane have to take him home.
  • Tiny talks Will into going to a Gay-Straight Alliance meeting, where he pitches his idea for Tiny Dancer: The Tiny Cooper Story to the club.
  • They vote and agree to ask the school to fund the production.
  • Tiny also mentions that Will and Jane would be good together, and then proceeds to force them into the same car. Oh, Tiny.
  • The school agrees to fund Tiny Dancer. Yay.
  • But Tiny's not going to make any changes to it for Will.
  • Tiny, Jane, and Will head to a concert, but Will can't get in so Tiny and Jane go see the band without him.
  • During the concert, Jane runs into her ex-boyfriend, Randall, and Tiny encourages them to get together. After all, Will doesn't like her, right?

  • Tiny heads over to the Little League field (Will's favorite place to go) and Will follows him to let his best friend know that he loves him.
  • On opening night, Tiny throws up before going on stage.
  • Luckily, the show is a hit.
  • At the end of Hold Me Closer, everyone stands up and says how much they love and appreciate Tiny. So many feels.
