  • Will Grayson and Tiny Cooper have been best friend since fifth grade.
  • Last semester, Will wrote an article in the school newspaper defending his BFF.
  • Will finds out that Neutral Milk Hotel is playing in Chicago and heads there with Tiny and Jane. But it turns out it isn't actually Neutral Milk Hotel. Bummer.
  • When Tiny's boyfriend breaks up with him and Tiny gets drunk, Will and Jane have to get Tiny home.
  • Tiny mentions that Will and Jane would be good together, but Will doesn't really think so.
  • Will goes with Jane to get a fake ID, but when Jane tries to kiss him, Will rebuffs her. Ouch.
  • Later, Will offers Jane his jacket and she magically gets it back into his locker. Then he tells her that the note she left was "cute."
  • But maybe Will does like her after all. He decides to set up a big romantic gesture at the Maybe Dead Cats concert: The band will play her favorite song and dedicate it to her locker combination. So sweet.
  • But on the night of the concert, Will can't get in with his fake ID.
  • So he goes to buy porn while he waits for Tiny and Jane.
  • In the porn shop, Will runs into another kid named will grayson. Weird, huh?

  • Will is pretty jealous when Jane skips school to hang with her boyfriend.
  • That night, Will goes to Jane's house to ask her about Schrödinger's cat. It's more romantic than it seems.
  • Will feels let down that Tiny is spending so much time away from him. Maybe they were never that close after all…
  • Jane shows up at Will's house. She finally realizes that it was Will who dedicated the song to her.
