About Me

Intro

I'll be the first to admit…people think of me as the rich kid on the block. You may think of me as spoiled because of my big, fancy buildings and my majestic white stallion, but I'm far from stuck up about any of it—you definitely don't need to be rich to attend me.

I've got fantastic financial aid programs. And if you're a good student, I'll make it happen.

I carry a rep of being "high-spirited" (cough party animal cough) and confident. Maybe even a little bit overconfident...but when you've trained the likes of George Lucas and Neil Armstrong, your head can get a little inflated. So yeah, while I do take my partying very seriously, I'm also a leader in engineering, film, law, and even video game design. I don't slack when it comes to academics.

And for between classes, there's clubs galore. I've got everything from capoeira to quidditch. I also organize outreach groups to serve the community.

So whether you're into dance-fighting or just dishing out the warm fuzzies, I've got a place for you.

Name

The Traveler, although my teams are called the Trojans. What.

Hometown

Let's see…I have downtown not too far down the road. I have Hollywood a little bit further past West Hollywood. The beach is just a hop, skip, and a jump west of me. I love to wear almost nothing in the fall, and people like to say I don't really have seasons over here. You can probably guess. I'm in Los Angeles.

Birthdate

October 6, 1880

Body Type

I'm a private school in a very large city. I'm not huge or small—I'm right in the goldilocks zone. My student population is 41,000, and 18,000 of those are undergraduates.

Since there's slightly more than a handful of students, classes aren't the most intimate. However, I've got discussion sections for all of them that are much smaller. This means it's easier for the instructor to call on you when you oh-so-eagerly raise your hand (or don't).

Current Living Situation

I keep my cute little freshmen close by my side in the dorms on campus. However, I use the phrase "dorm" pretty loosely. There are plenty of classic residence halls, sure, but I also offer suite-style housing and even university apartments.

Sophomores, juniors, and seniors have a little more freedom to venture out on their own. I am surrounded by the city of LA, after all. You can find apartments and houses pretty much anywhere, but just be aware of the traffic. It's notoriously terrible.

For those that don't want to stray too far, there are plenty of university-affiliated apartments, as well.

Relationship Status

Let's just say I take football games very seriously. It's more than just a game and I get particularly fired up when I'm up against those pesky UCLA Bruins on the Westside. I wouldn't go as far as saying I despise them…but I'm pretty happy every time my Trojans pound them into the turf.

You should apply to me if...

you're ready to study up and party down with the best.
