So you want to set up a test prep classroom. [Teacher sat behind her computer]

The first thing you’ll want to do is log into schools.shmoop.com, your online course

headquarters.

There, you’ll see your name at the top of the screen. [Arrow pointing to the name]

If you’re not sure, it should match that thing on your birth certificate.

Click your name, and you’ll be taken to your personalized Shmoop Dashboard. [The dashboard appears]

Click "Create a Classroom"

Enter the Name of Your Classroom where it says "Name Your Classroom." [Person types "Mrs. Shmooper Totally Awesome Class"]

Then choose your license.

You might only have one option, in which case we've made that decision for you.

Last, but not least, select up to four products.

They're split up by product type, so be sure you're in the right section. [The different product types are highlighted]

Then click the big orange button that says "Create Classroom" and you're good to go.

The first thing you'll see is a class code in that blue box at the top. [The class code is highlighted]

Your students will use that code to get into the classroom. [Student sits down at his desk with a laptop]

They'll also log in, but on their dashboard they'll choose "Join Classroom."

Then they'll need enter the class code and your email address. [Arrow pointing to the class code box]

Right below that class code is a section called "Class Roster" with the option to invite students [The class roster section is highlighted]

Click "Invite Students," enter their email addresses, click "Add" and then click Invite.

Once you’ve invited students to your classroom, they’ll get a notification in their email…

…along with simple instructions on how to join. [Invitation appears in the students inbox]

After they’re in, your students will be able to access any assignments you’ve posted…

…check their progress and test scores…

…see suggestions of what areas they might need to work on…
