In this Technicolor hit, Ken asks Barbie to go party, which prompts Barbie to belt out a tune. In it, she declares that she's a "Barbie girl in a Barbie world," which is like taking Madonna's "Material Girl" and coating it in plastic.
Years later, Mattel sued Aqua, accusing their suggestive song of copyright infringement. They lost, which wasn't anywhere near as embarrassing for Mattel as Oreo Fun Barbie...but still humiliating.
