Context

This line is from the song "No Scrubs" by TLC from the album Fan Mail (1999).

Five years after warning people not to go chasing waterfalls, TLC let the world know that, by the way, they don't want no scrubs.

These ladies are "lookin' like class," and that loser is "lookin' like trash"—no self respecting woman is gonna "get with his deadbeat" you know what.

Sorry, Zach Braff, but you're out of luck.

Where you've heard it

A scrub is "also known as a buster," which Urban Dictionary defines as a chump, sucker, or uncool person.  In other words, any loser can be called a scrub.

And we can't forget about a cover of the song by the band Bastille, which reminds us of that time Alanis covered "My Humps."
