Context

This line is spoken by some reporter or another in the TV show 60 Minutes (1968).

A variation of this line is still spoken at the beginning of the incredibly long running news magazine show, 60 Minutes. There's a ticking stopwatch that pops up, then the various reporters appear and tell us what their stories are going to be about. Finally, one of the reporters says the line we're all waiting to hear.

These days, however, they can't promise Andy Rooney, who used to make cranky observations about the world at the end of every episode. He passed away in 2011—at an impressive 92 years old. Gotta say, we miss the old guy.

Where you've heard it

You probably heard it when your grandparents were watching 60 Minutes on a Sunday night after the football game.
