Piggy, speaking these lines, represents innocence—and how. The island is degenerating into anarchy, and all he can think about is what the grownups are going to think.
Where you've heard it
Piggy is the stereotypical goody-two-shoes. You'll see him in any movie or TV show where all the kids are rebelling and there's one kid who pipes up with, "But what will our parents think?"
