Context

As part of the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus speaks this line to warn his followers against false prophets. They might appear cute and fluffy and harmless, like a sheep, but in reality, false prophets are as dangerous as the big bad wolf.

Where you've heard it

A "wolf in sheep's clothing" is anything dangerous that disguises itself as something not dangerous. Like the Trojan horse.
