Katsa

There can be no doubt that Katsa is our protagonist in Graceling. While we might also consider Po a main character since he's around for most of the action, we know Katsa is the main main character because (a) this book is about her transformation, and (b) everything is told from her point of view. If Katsa doesn't see it or hear about it, we don't know it, so it would be awfully difficult for someone else to be the protagonist.
