- Isaac wanted them to to leave anyway, but Edmond thought they'd be dooming the others to death if they left.
- An argument ensued, and Isaac won out, but Edmond couldn't live with what he knew would happen, so eventually Isaac kept moving and left Edmond behind.
- Isaac returned to the house two days after Daisy left (which breaks her heart).
- Edmond went back to Gateshead, still couldn't convince the others to leave, and eventually left.
- The Enemy found him and kept him a month, but he eventually escaped and came home.
- All he's been doing since then, though, is sitting and gardening.
- Daisy realizes he must have witnessed the massacre.
