Patch's (non-biological) bro and another fallen angel, Rixon is a rough Irishman who only makes two appearances, once at Bo's and once in flashback. Though he doesn't have a big part in the book, Rixon helps give some depth to Patch's life beyond his interactions with Nora, as well as adding a bit of texture to our understanding of the world of angels, fallen angels, and Nephilim. He also shows how unique Patch is in his quest to become human—more fallen angels are content to keep on keeping on.
