A Coward
- Dustfinger goes into Meggie's room while she's sleeping (creepy). He feels guilty about a lot of things, such as the fact that he'd been talking to Basta (Capricorn's head henchman) the previous night.
- He picks up the book and begins to read it… and then stops, cursing himself as a coward. He tells himself that it doesn't matter, and anyway, who wants to know how the story ends in advance? He leaves Meggie's room, but still can't sleep.
