Character Analysis
The loud and talkative Italian man, Antonio Foscarelli provides a foil to the taciturn English valet, Mr. Masterman. Foscarelli's Italian heritage attracts M. Bouc's suspicions, as M. Bouc believes that all Italians are knife-wielding murderers. Foscarelli was the chauffer at the Armstrong house.
