Sara Fitzgerald Timeline & Summary

In 1990, Sara Fitzgerald discovers that her daughter, Kate, has leukemia.
She spends her entire life trying to save Kate, even going to the lengths of genetically "designing" a child, Anna, to be Kate's donor.
Years later, Anna decides to sue Sara for the right to her own body.
Sara represents herself in court, in a case that almost tears her marriage apart.
Up until the very end, she maintains that Anna should give Kate her kidney.
She gets her wish: Anna dies in a car accident and her kidney is donated to Kate, who lives.
Be careful what you wish for, huh?
Sara spends the rest of her life regretting that she neglected Anna for so long.
