Eleanor Tilney Timeline and Summary

Eleanor arrives in Bath with her brother and her father.
She is introduced to Catherine at a ball.
Eleanor invites Catherine to take a walk with her, but a mix up prevents the walk from occurring.
The next day Eleanor is called away by her father when Catherine comes over to apologize. She is afraid Catherine will think her rude and Henry explains on her behalf when he sees Catherine again.
Eleanor finally goes on a walk with Henry and Catherine.
General Tilney and Eleanor invite Catherine to Northanger Abbey.
Eleanor shows Catherine around the house and tells her about her mother, who died nine years earlier.
At the General's behest, Eleanor tells Catherine she must leave Northanger Abbey. The errand upsets Eleanor and she begs Catherine to write her.
Fortunately, Eleanor is able to marry the man she loves after he inherits a fortune and she becomes a Viscountess.
Eleanor uses her new influence and her father's excitement over her marriage to convince him to allow Henry and Catherine to marry.
