Harry Houdini Timeline and Summary

Houdini is riding through New Rochelle when his automobile strikes a telephone pole in front of the family's house. He goes in the house, does tricks and drinks lemonade with the family.
At the Tombs, the same prison where Harry K. Thaw is being held, Houdini tests a pair of leg irons and escapes from them. Harry K. Thaw mocks Houdini during the stunt.
Houdini goes on a European tour. While there he learns to fly, meets Archduke Ferdinand and his mother dies.
Houdini returns to the U.S. after learning of his mother's death. He tries to contact her through mediums and spiritualists but ends up exposing them as frauds instead.
His act becomes more and more dangerous, frightening the crowd. One day there is an explosion at the end of a performance—the work of Coalhouse and his gang blowing up a nearby firehouse.
Houdini does an escape trick while hanging upside down above Times Square. As he performs the trick he thinks of the Little Boy's reflection in the headlamp of his motorcar.
