Malyne Timeline and Summary

At the beginning of the tale, the narrator introduces Malyne as Symkyn's daughter and describes her physical voluptuousness.
The narrator tells us that Malyne's grandfather, the town parson, plans to bestow an inheritance on her and marry her to a nobleman, thus using her to elevate the family's social status.
Aleyn decides to take recompense for the corn Symkyn has stolen from him by having sex with Malyne; before she can even protest, Aleyn jumps on top of her.
In the morning, Malyne calls Aleyn "sweet lemman" and tells him where he can find the corn her father has stolen.
